A few things about me…
I am a pastor’s wife of 27 years to a loving and patient husband, and mom of two wonderfully made sons, one in college and the other in high school, who lives with special needs. I consider marriage and motherhood my primary ministries from the Lord and I’m truly grateful for God’s redemptive grace shown to me within these cherished roles.
My desire is to glorify my heavenly Father, faithfully follow Jesus my Savior, and consistently study God’s Word. To help with that, I’m thankful for and committed to my local church in SW Florida, where I’ve been a member for the past 21 years. Over the past 19 years I have served in our church’s Women’s Ministry as a Bible teacher, ministry leader, and guest speaker at women’s events. Currently, I am serving on staff at a K-12 private school in their Admissions department. Here’s a little bit more about me and my background.

I was educated at Azusa Pacific University and the University of Texas at Dallas and received my MBA in 2001. I had the privilege of contributing to the published women’s devotional book, The Hidden Person of the Heart: Discovering What God Says About and to Women Through the Scriptures. As an aspiring author, Odd Moms Out: God’s Redemptive Grace in the Lives of Five Biblical Mothers is my first published book, thanks to the Lord and Kharis Publishing.
When I am not teaching, studying, writing, or completing tasks for my “day job,” I enjoy exercising, family time, eating out with friends, or taking a nap, but not necessarily in that order. Some have described me as real and transparent, but others have pointed out my quick-witted humor, my habit of asking too many questions, my love for coffee, and being known for owning one too many pairs of Converse tennis shoes.
My passion is…
to encourage women to love and follow Jesus and intently study His Word by teaching the truth of the Bible and sharing the good news of God’s redemptive grace.
