Redemption and Restoration
In her book, Odd Moms Out, Tamar takes you through the lives of five biblical mothers and their distinct stories of adversity. Yet each woman was surprisingly impacted by God’s redemptive grace and selected by the Lord as a chosen descendant within the lineage of Jesus.
Mercy and Compassion
In her book, Nameless but Known, Tamar invites you to discover God’s loving care through the biblical stories of six desperate, unnamed, overlooked women whose lives changed through encounters with Jesus.

Feeling weary and unseen,
or lost and alone?
Your story isn’t over—God’s matchless mercy awaits.
In a crowded world that often forgets the broken, silences the wounded, and overlooks the desperate, Nameless but Known: Six biblical women Jesus met with His mercy arrives as a deeply moving reminder:
You are seen, known, and deeply loved by Jesus.
Perhaps you can relate to the scriptural narratives of these unnamed women more than you realize:
The divorced woman by the well whose thirst went deeper than water
The adulterous woman at the center of shame and condemnation
The maternal woman in the region whose bold plea stirred Christ’s heart
The sinful woman around the town whose identity was redeemed
The widowed woman outside the city met with comfort amid grief
Their uplifting stories will remind you that God sees, hears, knows, understands, and cares for individuals; you too are not forgotten by Him.

“Nameless but Known is a theologically rich exploration of Christ’s matchless mercy. With biblical precision and keen insight, Tamar brings to life six unnamed women in the Gospels who encountered Jesus in their deepest moments of need. A must-read for those longing to grasp the depths of God’s compassion and grace.”
— Whitney Eaton, Direct of Ministry to Women, Providence Church, Frisco, TX

Encouraged by God’s Grace and Mercy
“In Nameless but Known, Tamar reminds us of the mercy we have through the gospel and the lovingkindness of Jesus to know us and change hearts and lives like only He can. This insightful book’s message is one to repeat to yourself over and over, and to share with a friend.”
— Sarah Lightner, Missionary with Family Legacy Missions International, Arcadia, FL

A few things about me…
I am a pastor’s wife of 28 years, and mom of two young adult sons, one in college and the other in high school, who lives with special needs. I thank the Lord for marriage and motherhood as my two primary ministries.
My desire is to glorify my heavenly Father, faithfully follow Jesus my Savior, and consistently study God’s Word. To help with that, I’m thankful for and committed to my local church, McGregor Baptist, located in SW Florida, where I’ve been a member for the past 23 years. Over the past 21 years I have served in Women’s Ministry as a Bible teacher, ministry leader, and guest speaker at women’s events. I also have the joy of co-hosting the “Around McGregor” weekly podcast. In my desire to further encourage women to follow Jesus and study the Bible, I launched my YouTube channel in 2025 @Tamar.Miller. In addition, I serve part-time on staff at a K-12 private school in Admissions. Here’s a little bit more about me and my background:
↓
I was educated at Azusa Pacific University (APU) and the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and received my MBA in 2001. As an aspiring author, Odd Moms Out: God’s redemptive grace in the lives of five biblical mothers was my first published book in 2022 by Kharis Publishing. I am grateful to partner again with Kharis Media for publishing my second book, Nameless but Known: Six biblical women Jesus met with His mercy, released in August 2025. Additionally, I was a contributor for the book, God First: Devotions for Business and Professional Life, released in October 2025, by Kendall Hunt Publishing Co., in collaboration with APU to help raise funds for prospective students to attend this Christian University.
For book promotional purposes, I’ve had the privilege of appearing on popular radio, podcast, and television programs, including “Hope-filled Perspective” with Dr. Michelle Bengtson, on “Greater Impact” with Nina Roesner, and on “The Call” with Nancy Sabato. I was also a guest on “Hope Today”, the live television program produced by Cornerstone Network, a Christian media ministry that spreads the gospel throughout the nation.
When I am not teaching, studying, writing, or completing tasks for my “day job,” I enjoy family time, morning coffee, reading, bike-riding, neighborhood walks, completing crossword puzzles, eating out with friends, and taking occasional naps. Though I love living near the gulf shore beaches, I could do without the humidity and hurricanes. I have been described as real and transparent, but others have pointed out my quick-witted humor and habit of asking too many questions.

My passion is…
to encourage women to love and follow Jesus and intently study His Word by teaching the truth of the Bible and sharing the good news of God’s redemptive grace.
